It's not all about the hair for me in DmC (although that plays a large part). It's the make-up as well.
The London heroin chic look is so last season, I do wish they had gone for more vibrant colours that are this season.
Maybe they will patch it in, or offer some L'Oreal DLC?

Personally I'm looking forward to The Last Guardian if it ever comes out (although the fact it's taken this long and a few key staff members have left is a little concerning)!
Same goes for the XBLA game Fez, I've been looking forward to that game for a few years now and just want to get my hands on it.
Ni no Kuni looks absolutely addorable (the Studio Ghibli / Level 5 collaboration) and it'll be nice to see The Last of Us if Naughty Dog manage to bring it out before the end of the year.But with the Vita as well it looks like it's going to be a VERY expensive year!

Oddly enough I'm going to vote for HMV - I've got the best deals on new titles from them this year. I managed to get Portal 2 for £30, and last week I managed to get rid of Brink & Crysis 2 which enabled me to get L.A Noire for free. They've got a couple of upcoming trade-in deals that are looking pretty appetising too.

This is still one of my favourite games on the PS3 and one of only a few titles that I have actually completed on that system. When it came out it was one of those games you could stick on to show people how good games could look, it really was a graphics whores wet dream.

I should really pull my finger out of my backside a complete the second Uncharted game, which is equally as awesome as the original and then some!

I'm glad you enjoyed it, i made sure i'd played through and completed (platinum as well :D) the first game before the 2nd came out!

I had the extreme pleasure of interviewing Nolan north a while back, and he is in every way, Nathan drake. If the film does come to frution, it's going to be strange seeing, and hearing, someone other than him play the lead!

The game was really great actually, I mean some reviewers have given it anywhere from a 7-8.5 but this was a TRUE Ghostbusters game, they did a pretty good job with this one.

Another tip I feel is to either hook up with a person who works in a store like HMV so you can get their discount, get a job in HMV yourself so you can get discount, or do both like I did. I feel keeping your old games instead of trading them in is also better because while you can save money by trading in games, keeping older games means when you're stuck for something to do you always have something to go back to. I've never traded anything in in my life and it means when I want to play Echo the dolphin on my mega drive, I can.

It has been a long time since I was a student... but I remember buying an N64 and some friends buying their own pads for it so we could play together. Swapping and trading between friends was also way more economical then trading in at the shops. After all you don't rip off your friends do you?

Even now though I will wait weeks or months until a game is cheap. That and keep an eye on the Frugal gaming twitter of feed of course!

I'm finding it really hard. I used to have a PS3 at home but as it's my dads I don't have one anymore! It's been especially horrible with MW2 coming out and I'm not able to get it! I have however been very lucky with making friends. One friend brought a Wii and recently brought an xbox 360. One other friend is bringing his PS3 and HDTV from home this weekend! So a tip to all gaming students, make friends with other gamers! Then you can shares games, chip in together to get one game, etc. All the above consoles are kept in my room too as my room is so big! The guys are round here every night! I love it :)

Gutted - just tried to find the PS3 Friends Lite app, but it has been removed because Sony borked it :-( A couple of days too late, how annoying.

I'll check out DoggCatcher, had a go with Google Listen, but it was pretty crappy and I couldn't find most of the podcasts I listen too.

If you like the marble in a maze type game, check out Graviturn for a neat twist on the idea.

After having a fiddle with the HTC Hero, I was suitably impressed by a genuine iPhone alternative that doesn't suck balls (like my current handset). And with the support of Emulators I think I may pick up an Android powered handyset next time I upgrade.

It was a close one Ducky-poos on Reactor but I'll give you that cheap win.

Only had my 'droid for a couple of weeks, but already have screens full of app icons and Widgets! A few of my favorites follow...

As well as the mentioned 1337pwn.com XBOX Live friends, there is an equivilent app for PSN friends called PS3 Friends Lite, same online notifications and trophy listings.

eBuddy, single account log on that grants access to a wide range of IM networks; MSN; Yahoo; AIM; GTalk;

LastFM, play your library or recommended tracks, mainly useful when you are on WiFi. You can block and love tracks right from the app, and comes with a great home screen widget for play control.

Google Listen, free in house developed podcast listener, soon to be linked up with Google Reader for feed management. It's a decent app, however anyone serious about their podcasts should look for the pay app DoggCatcher which is a much deeper application.

And a couple of games that provide Lite versions to demo Labyrinth Lite (Marble in maze game) and Retro Defense (Tower Defense game with modern yet retro graphics)

Good to see the Android love being spread :)
